I finally decided to start a blog. I've been thinking about doing this for a year or so now but today, I made it happen!! To start off, I wanted to share a little about me.
My name is Anna Calvin, I am in my twenties, and I was born and raised in Findlay, OH. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Seth, and we JUST celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. We will be celebrating 8 years together in December! We have a 1 year old rescue dog named Riley. We adopted her last year from a rescue in Cleveland, OH when she was 10 weeks old. She is a mix of a boarder collie and golden retriever and has more energy then we know what to do with! Seth and I bought our first home last April. It needs some work so you should see plenty of transformations on this blog.
I am a college graduate from The University of Findlay where I majored in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I graduated in the Spring of 2016 and I graduated with honors in three years, which was a BIG goal of mine! I am a creative soul and I am all about DIY's. Pinterest is my creative escape and Hobby Lobby is my second home. I also love to bake and try new recipes. My mom taught me that homemade is always better (there are a few exceptions to this).
I am a vegetarian and became one back in February of 2017. I did it for health reasons but have found that now it's also for animals. Although I am a vegetarian, Seth is not but we make it work! Thankfully, he likes vegetables!
I've decided to start this blog to have a place to store all of the recipes I love, the DIY's I create, and to share about my life but I also wanted others to see my posts in hopes that they would be inspired by a DIY or recipe and try it for themselves. So I hope you can take one thing away from this as I post more! Until then, enjoy some pictures of my life.
